Oshara Village Update

Oshara Village continues to grow in the face of challenging economic times. All Phase I roads and infrastructure are complete. The town's water reclamation plant is operational and recycles water from all homes for reuse on the town's landscaping and other commercial uses. Around 35 families have moved in and that number continues to grow. The first 40 homes are super-insulated, oriented for passive solar gain, use reclaimed water for landscaping and have energy-efficient appliances and lighting.

May 10, 2008 was an auspicious occasion as Oshara Village cut the ribbon on the new Rabbit Road Extension providing a direct connection to St. Francis Drive, now only 5 minutes away. The medians on New Village Avenue and Oshara Boulevard are landscaped and the entry at Willow Back Road and Richards Ave. is complete with entry monument, landscaping and a functioning roundabout. The roundabout now host the sculpture by John Massee, "Giant Dance."

There are homes available and Oshara is pleased to announce a new line of Build Green New Mexico Gold Standard Homes
